Sitting at the most eastern side of the Fife peninsula, St Andrews is now a golfing and tourist centre. The North Sea coastline around St Andrews is famous for sweeping sandy bays on either side of a rocky headland. Preserved and listed, the St Andrews Cathedral and nearby St Andrews Castle make an interesting day trip. Take a break from self catering and enjoy eating out at one of the many fine restaurants and Cafes St Andrews has to offer.

The route follows the East Neuk of Fife, through picturesque fishing villages such as Elie, Anstruther, Crail, St Monans and Pittenweem.
