Electricity and Gas Prices Castaway Cottages

Electricity & Gas Pricing at Castaway Cottages

Electricity from the months of September inclusive to May is charged as used by guests. Summer months June to August no charge.

This can be simply calculated as follows:

Example of how to calculate Electricity charge for your stay:

Day Unit Reading Arrival 16571, on departure reading is 16707, difference is 136 units used.

Multiply 136, the total used by £0.15 which is £20.40

Example of how to calculate Gas charge for your stay:

Day Unit Reading Arrival 10238, on departure reading is 10038, difference is 200 units used.

Multiply 200, the day total by £0.07 which is £14

Add Gas total to Electricity total used, £20.40 plus £14 (in the example).

 

This actual amount of gas and electricity used will be charged on your card after departure.
