Tentsmuir Forest Fife |
Tentsmuir forest, owned by the Scottish Natural Heritage is located East of Tayport in Fife at Tentmuir Point not far from St Andrews. It is a place of natural beauty where the River Tay meets the sea forming yellow sand dunes. This gives a home to many sand grasses, lichens and mosses.. The sea in turn swirels with the Tay and the River Eden providing a haven at Tensmuir for seals and many varieties of birds.
