Balmerino Abbey Fife |
Photographs of Balerino Abbey and ancient Spanish Chestnut tree. The Abbey is now a partial ruin but is a beautiful setting. The ancient Spanish chestnut was believed to be planted in 1229 by Queen Ermengarde at the foundation of the Abbey.
